The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said it is working to restore the pilot alert system, a number of functions have already been restored.
“The FAA is still working on a full recovery of the NOTAM alert system after the outage. While some features are starting to work, National Airspace System operations remain limited,” the FAA said in a Twitter post.ABC previously reported that the FAA is experiencing a malfunction in its pilot alert system that could affect flights across the country, “including leading to the possible termination of flights.”
