The first reviews on “Avatar-2. The Way of Water”. What delighted and disappointed the audience
The first viewers of the long-awaited sequel – “Avatar 2. The Way of Water” by James Cameron, by tradition, were members of American critical guilds – and the first reviews have already appeared in the press.
The main impression – from the fantastic pictures of the unearthly nature created by computer magicians of Cameron’s laboratories.
These pictures are so detailed, so abundantly populated with bizarre marine and forest life, that, one critic writes, you will have to watch the film over and over again to even try to master all this incredible visual information.
The plot of the new picture takes place ten years after the events of the first “Avatar“. During this time, Jake (Sam Worthington) and his wife Neytiri (Zoe Saldana)
managed to create a happy family and get kids – sons Neteyama (Jamie Flatters) and Loak (Britten Dalton), and in addition, they adopted the orphan Kiri (Sigourney Weaver).
But the aggressors from Earth have returned to Pandora, led by Quarich (Stephen Lang) – the same ruthless marine who, it would seem, died at the end of Avatar.
